A springtime Magnolia (most likely a Sweetbay) in my own backyard inspired this teapot set.
Magnolia Tree Tea Set
This teapot set has four pieces. The pot has the mottled grey bark of a mature tree; its base has tree rings. A flower bud is the knob on the leafy lid. An open blossom becomes the cup, while the saucer is composed of leaves.
Everything is made of machine-stitched cotton threads (and a little hand-stitching).
