My goal was to make a thread teapot inspired by the glow of hot metal and flames.
Red Hot Tea
The sheen comes from a fusible metallic fiber stitched with metallic threads. The color changes from reddish-orange at the base to smoky red around the lid.
The handle and lid have flame-like details.
